The Playoff: Packers NFC Champions! Super Bowl Here we Come!

OMG!!! This was by far the most nerve recking game I have ever watched in my life.

I sum up Green Bay's playoff run like this:

Against Philly: Smart Win
Against Atlanta: Dominating Win
Against Chicago: Ugly Win.

I'm going to be honest this game was ugly and sloppy for both teams. Honestly I expected the Packers to continue there offensive dominance and the first 2 opening drives it looked that way but from there on it was a struggle. Here on some stats:

Offense/Passing/Rushing/Receiving:
Aaron Rodgers - 17/30 for 244 yards 0 TD's and 2 INT's
He did run it in for a touchdown but other than that it was Rodgers best game. I kind of saw a different Rodgers out there than last week. I just felt like he was playing too conservative and didn't want to lose the game for his team. I credit the Bears defense for rattling Rodgers in that way.

James Starks - 22 attempts for 74 yards and 1 TD
I had a feeling Starks was going to get his in this game. He played decent enough to get Chicago's attention defensively. He definitely has helped this team a bunch. It would be really hard if we didn't have a running game coming in to these playoffs and just being a passing team. That would have put a lot of pressure on Rodgers.

Greg Jenning - 8 receptions for 130 yards.
He came to play this game. He was the only one to step up big for us in this game. All the rest of the Packers wide outs seemed to not have shown up for this one. But they did enough to win. I expect a different outcome from our wide outs in this Super Bowl.

Defense:
2 sacks, 3INT's and 2 Forced Fumbles and one of them being a recovery. Great game defensively by the Pack. They pretty much won this game for this team. I am so proud of our defense. At times I was nervous because we took Cutler out of the game but we did not game plan against there 3rd string quarterback so Chicago was able to come back. But in the end Sam Shields gets an interception in our 31 yard line to seal the game and take us to the Super Bowl.

I am so stoked for this game. I can't wait for it! It has been a tremendous year and we deserve to be where we are right now. CAN'T WAIT!!!

The Playoffs: Packers Dominate! Recap/Highlights

What can I say! Another dominating performance by my beloved Green Bay Packers. The Super Bowl has never smelled so close and good!! I got to be honest with you though, with all the injuries and close overtime games that we lost during the regular season, I was getting worried that we would not be a threat in the post-season or by that even make the post-season. But here we are in the NFC Championship Game! One game away from the Super Bowl. Here is what took place:

Great Offense/Passing/Rushing: Aaron Rodgers once again leading the offense to one of the best performances of post-season history. 31/36, 366 yards, 3 td's. All I can say is WOW! This guy is an absolute beast. If he continues to play this way, theres no way any team can beat us.
Greg Jennings, 8 receptions, for 101 yards.
Starks didn't have a big game like in Philadelphia but he gave us some big first downs when we needed it and kept the clock running.
James Starks 25attempts for 66yards.
Also Packers set team record for most points scored in a single post-season game with 48.

Great Defense: This defensive unit is SERIOUS!! If you haven't heard, Clay Mathew was named Defensive Player of the Year last week. That makes 2 consecutive Green Bay Packer seasons with Defensive Players of the Year. Last year it was Charles Woodson and this year it is Clay Mathews. Check out the article here. Back to game these were the stats.
5 sacks
2 interceptions
1 Forced Fumble
One word, BEASTY!!!

I clearly ain't expecting anyone to give us the respect the we deserve and I also don't want any bang wagon jumpers joining this Packers team either. But however watched this game knows that this team is dangerous. So like I said, the Super Bowl is smelling good and near and the only thing that can beat us is ourselves.

WATCH OUT WORLD HERE COMES THE GREEN AND GOLD!!!

The Playoffs: Packers Win! Recap/Highlights

Hey everyone, I just want to say that I am super hyped right now! I feel like running around my neighborhood and screaming at the top of my lungs! lol Seriously though, I am really happy with the Packers performance last night. Im not just saying this because I am a die hard Packer Backer but I really saw everything that a team needs to be a Super Bowl champion in the Packers last night.

Great Offense/Passing: Aaron Rodgers passing for 180 yards, 3 TD's, and 0 INT's
That is amazing stats. I got to say that having Rodger under center does not make me nervous like Favre did. Seriously every snap that Favre took I would be bitting my nails off!

Great Offense/Running: I called it from the beginning. When me and my brother were getting the wings for the game, I told him, "What out for James Starks!" my brother said "Who". All night he was giving me props about this guy. Let me give you some stats on him.
23 touches for 123 yards. And can I remind you that he is a ROOKIE!!!

Great Defense: You've heard the old clique, "Defense wins championships", and that is true. I got to admit that I was really nervous as to how the Packers Defense would face up to Vick. But after a sack on the first possession of the ball game, I knew something special was going to happen defensively. Let me give you some stats.
3 sacks, 1 forced fumble, 1 interception! Wow. We kept Philly to a total of 82 yards rushing (that's including Michael Vick!)

These are the things that Champions are made of. Below is a recap of the game. Enjoy

Now next the Atlanta Falcons this Saturday @ 7pm.
