Fasting - Day 13

Hey everyone!
Yesterday (Saturday) I completed my 13th day of this 21 day Daniel fast. If you don't know what I am talking about or haven't read my previous posts on my fast click here. My church (Potter's House Christian Church) has incorporated Pastor Jentenzen Franklin's 21 day Daniel fast. To check out every detail of this fast go to Jentenzen Franklin.org

What torture! Yesterday by far was the hardest day of this fast. We celebrated my mother's birthday. I won't tell you how old she is, but she will 50 next year! Oh, did I just say that! Anyways I started off the day, by going over her house and cooking an amazing breakfast for her that I did not get to partake in. I haven't cooked breakfast for my mother since I was about 13 yrs old. It brought back a lot of memories.
So that was the morning, now let me tell you what happened in the evening (because it gets more intense!).
We went to the famous Charley's Steak house. And yes I continued my fast. I did not have any steak, but let me show you what I did have.
Great huh! Happy Birthday mom I love you! You went through pregnancy for me so I will go through my sacrifice for God and for you.

This was day 13 of 21 days. Everyday for the next 21 days I will be keeping you posted with everything that happens throughout my fasting experience. You can also check out Potter's House Christian Church and download free podcast daily of every service in our 21 day fast. So stay plugged in everyday.

So are you or your church fasting this new year? If so how is it going? If not I invite you to dedicate and separate yourself for God, it will change the rest of your year.

Until next time
Stay blessed
